ACDA National Conference Information
The ACDA National Conference will be featuring choirs from all over the country. Information on who will be performing will be posted when ACDA releases that information.

REGISTRATION OPENS FALL OF 2010
The sooner that you register to become an ACDA member, the sooner you can being to experience the amazing benefits this organization has to offer!
- Student ACDA membership registration is $35. You need to be a member of ACDA in order to attend conference. Go to
www.acda.org and follow procedures to register online. If you would like to pay by check, print off the registration form and send it along with the check to the address found on the form.
- Conference registration is yet to be determined for this year. That is half the price of what adult members are paying for the same conference!

Student Conducting Competition Chorus
The objectives of the ACDA Student Conducting Awards are three-fold:
(1) To acknowledge and reward outstanding graduate and undergraduate student conductors;
(2) To encourage score preparation and advancement of conducting and rehearsal skills; and
(3) To promote student activity at the ACDA National Convention.
The following cash prizes are awarded to the winners of the final round of the conducting awards:
First Prize, Graduate Level: $1000;
Second Prize, Graduate Level: $500;
First Prize, Undergraduate Level: $500;
Second Prize, Undergraduate Level: $250.
In addition, the sixteen semi-finalists (up to eight undergraduate and eight graduate) each receive
complimentary registration to attend the 2011 National Conference in Chicago.

Raymond W. Brock Student Composition Competition
The objectives of the contest are three-fold:
- to acknowledge and reward outstanding undergraduate and graduate student composers,
- to encourage choral composition of the highest caliber, and
- to further promote student activity at ACDA divisional and national conference.
APPLICATION DEADLINE IS OCTOBER 1st
The winner of the contest will be awarded a $1,000 cash prize, conference registration, and a performance of the work on the main stage by a choral ensemble selected by the association. During division conference years, the work will be performed at the winner's division conference.
